Ghanaian reggae and dancehall musician Ras Kuuku has strongly criticised rapper Sarkodie over a video the rapper reportedly posted shortly after Stonebwoy’s UK concert.

According to Ras Kuuku, the timing and content of the video were inappropriate, particularly because it featured a person with a disability. He described the post as an attempt to throw shade at Stonebwoy and condemned what he viewed as the use of disability for entertainment or to make a point.

“Sarkodie posting that video of a disabled man right after Stonebwoy’s concert wasn’t just shade, it was pure cowardly trash. Using someone’s disability as a punchline to score points is disgusting,” Ras Kuuku said.

His comments have added another dimension to the ongoing public discussion surrounding interactions and rivalries within Ghana’s music industry. While it is not clear from the available statement what Sarkodie intended by the video, Ras Kuuku’s remarks focus on the perceived timing and manner in which the content was shared.
